Following a month of holiday-related activities, the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce hosted the grand finale on Wednesday, Dec. 17, the annual lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Breckenridge.


For the second year, Terry McCoy has made a donation to the residents of Villa Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center in memory of his late wife, Lynn McCoy, who passed away last year less than two months before Christmas.

It was chilly and overcast Saturday morning, Dec. 13, as 19 runners, ranging in age from 12 to 86, gathered in the Breckenridge City Park, along with Humane Society volunteers and others, for the 11th annual Wags and Whiskers 5K and Furry Fun Run.
