‘Impossible Mile’ fundraiser set for May 9 at Buckaroo Stadium, benefiting Meals on Wheels
Community members are invited to walk, run, lunge, jump, crawl and roll for a cause during the upcoming Impossible Mile Fundraiser. The event, which benefits local seniors through Meals on Wheels, is scheduled for Saturday, May 9.
Organizers are hoping for great weather on the new event date after the event was rescheduled due to weather concerns earlier in the year. The challenge will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at Buckaroo Stadium, located at 706 N. Smith St. in Breckenridge.
Event Participation
The fundraiser is open to individuals ages 14 and up of all fitness levels. Participants can complete the mile at their own pace. Registration costs $25 per person, and the mile can be completed in the following formats:
- Single
- Double
- Team Relay
Registration costs will help provide nutritious meals and essential support to seniors in the community.
How to Join
Those interested in participating can register on-site at the stadium between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Participants are encouraged to “show up ready to move.”
