Johnny Ray Hamilton
Johnny Hamilton, age 60, of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026. Funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Morehart Mortuary chapel. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Morehart Mortuary.
Johnny Ray Hamilton was born November 14, 1965, in Slaton, Texas, to parents Mary Frances Moczygemba Hamilton and John Arnold Hamilton. He married Francelle Singleton and had three children, Courtney, John Paul and Michael. He also had a daughter later in life, Katherine Hamilton. Ray loved the outdoors and was always ready to go fishing. While he was able to work, he was a hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew, Cody Critchfield.
Ray is survived by his daughters, Courtney and husband Justin Hyndman, and Katherine Hamilton; sons, John Paul and wife Kelley Hamilton, and Michael Hamilton; his grandchildren, Lucien, Trinity, Thallion, Sophie, Emeric, Lorelei, Brooklyn, and Charlotte; his sisters, Terri Taylor and Vicki and husband Shawn Critchfield; nieces, Misty and husband Scott Gabriel, and Heather and husband Dustin Pettke; nephews, Bud Taylor and Jay Taylor; and many great nieces and nephews.
