The Breckenridge High School Lady Buckaroos varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams kicked off their season with mixed results in their home opener against the Poolville High School Lady Lions on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Three Breckenridge High School girls will be competing in the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s State Powerlifting contest next week in Frisco.
The Breckenridge High School Lady Buckaroos varsity basketball team had a tough start to their season, facing off against the Merkel High School Maidens and the Abilene High School Lady Eagles.
Meet the Bucks will be Friday, Aug. 18, at 8 p.m. at Buckaroo Stadium.
The Lacy Bucks’ playoff game will begin at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 in Wichita Falls.
Cyndi Herrera will be the next Lady Bucks softball coach.
