Stephens County residents remain under a fire ban after the County Commissioners took no action on the agenda item at their meeting this morning, July 8.

At their meeting on Monday, June 24, the Stephens County Commissioners voted to enact a burn ban for the unincorporated areas of the county.

At their regular meeting last week, the Stephens County Commissioners honored the local 4-H Range Evaluation and Plant ID team for their recent accomplishments at the recent Texas 4-H Roundup in College Station.
