Logan Scott Bills, age 25, was arraigned on a First Degree Murder charge by Stephens County Judge Michael Roach at the courthouse this afternoon, Monday, Nov. 25. Bills is being held on a $400,000 bond.

The shooting took place at a residence on South Stoker Avenue Friday afternoon.

The Breckenridge Fire Department reclaimed the championship title in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, hosted by the Rotary Club of Breckenridge and Carter BloodCare.

It was standing room only at Tuesday night’s Breckenridge City Commission meeting as citizens showed up to voice their opinions about recent water problems in their neighborhood and about the ongoing animal control problems in the community. Others were in attendance to show support for Breckenridge Police Department members who were honored at the meeting.
