Phillip Gregory was sworn in as the newly appointed 90th Judicial District Court Judge by recently retired District Judge Stephen E. Bristow this morning, Monday, Oct. 16, in the Stephens County Courtroom.

The doors of the National Theatre, located at 116 E. Walker St., will open at 6 p.m., and the concert will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the door.

Break 180, an enrichment program for Breckenridge children, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 6.

At a little after 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, a partial solar eclipse will begin and will be visible in Breckenridge. The eclipse, known as an “annular eclipse,” will reach its maximum state just before 11:50 a.m., and by 1:25 p.m., the event will be over.

The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Community-Wide Sidewalk and Garage Sale will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at locations throughout Breckenridge.

First Christian Church of Breckenridge will host a Pickleball Tournament on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 15, on the church’s pickleball court in downtown Breckenridge.

This week, four proposed logos were unveiled, and the City of Breckenridge has posted an online survey, asking the community to rank the logos.
