East Elementary to host Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23

Breckenridge’s East Elementary will host an Easter Egg Hunt for community children ages 3 to 9 on Saturday, March 23, at the school’s playground, 1310 E. Elm St.

The event will kick off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and will include the Easter Egg Hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Following the Easter Egg Hunt, a free hot dog picnic will be sponsored by the Caddo Volunteer Fire Department, Wayland VFD, Hubbard Creek VFD and the Breckenridge Fire Department. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on while they enjoy the hot dogs.

Other sponsors for the event include Ray’s Wild Game, Clay’s Tire Shop, Breckenridge Auto, Jenny Coffee State Farm, Ol’ Timers Diner, Ernie’s Spanish Kitchen, Lovely Nails, Pho Angel, Ladybug Pest Control, Dos Gallos, Sunrise Burritos, Graham Savings and Loan, The Water Store, Main Street Floral, Texas Credit and Loan, and Cricket Wireless.

A week later, on Saturday, March 30, New Destination Church will host a city-wide Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. in the Breckenridge City Park.
