National Theatre to host children’s theater camp next week
The National Theatre and the Friends of Historic Breckenridge will host the Missoula Children’s Theatre Camp, beginning next week. This year’s production will be “King Arthur’s Quest.”
The camp will be held June 12-16 with the performance for the public on June 17.
The theater workshop week will be from 10 a.m. to noon and from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. June 12-16, with each cast member having specific times they need to be at rehearsal, depending on the part they receive. Auditions will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12. The June 17 performance is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The theater camp will be open to kids in kindergarten through the 12th grade, and the cost will be $50 per child. A registration form can be downloaded from the Friends of Historic Breckenridge website.
In previous years, the National Theatre’s Missoula Theatre Camp has presented “The Frog Prince,” “Gulliver’s Travels” and “The Snow Queen.”
