Several organizations in Breckenridge are offering activities for the community’s children this summer, and it’s shaping up to be a nature-theme couple of months. From the Creature Teacher’s wildlife to the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s Beauty and the Beast-themed production, there’s quite a bit going on.
The local production of “Hercules!” will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the National Theatre, 116 E. Walker St., in downtown Breckenridge.

The Friends of Historic Breckenridge will host the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) for its annual summer theater camp in June at the National Theatre in downtown Breckenridge.
The National Theatre of Breckenridge and the Friends of Historic Breckenridge will have two events next month — New York, NY Dueling Pianos and a free showing of the movie “Wicked.”
Breckenridge kids will present the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Treasure Island” at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the National Theatre of Breckenridge.
From reading to art to theater, there are several programs going on this summer for Breckenridge kids.
Breckenridge’s National Theatre and the Missoula Children’s Theatre will present “King Arthur’s Quest” Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at the National Theater, 116 E. Walker St.
The theatre workshop will be June 12-16, and the performance will be on June 17.
