  • An officer arrested a subject on an Erath County warrant at the Law Enforcement Center at 8:54 a.m.
  • A deputy advised of a follow up in the 200 block of CR 225 at 9:57 a.m.
  • An officer advised he would be on a follow up in the 300 block of West Seventh Street at 10:06 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a minor accident at the intersection of FM 3099 and Highway 180 at 11:03 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a door-to-door salesman on Sha Lane. Contact was made at 11:39 a.m., and the salesman had an appropriate permit.
  • Several officers responded to the 300 block of East Walker Street in reference to a burglary of a building at 1:35 p.m.

  • The fire captain advised he would be checking on a control burn at FM 3201 and West Highway 180 at 12:01 p.m.
  • The police chief and an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity at the 1500 block of West Elm Street at 3:31 p.m.
  • The police chief and an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 3700 block of West Walker Street at 4:20 p.m.
  • The fire department responded to a report of a gas leak in the 200 block of North Harvey Street at 4:48 p.m.
  • An officer responded to the helipad at 200 S. Geneva St. for traffic control at 5:48 p.m.

Wednesday, January 20
  • A sergeant and an officer conducted a walk-through near the 500 block of West Lindsey Street at 12:51 a.m.
  • Two officers responded to a report of a terroristic threat at the 500 block of West Lindsey Street at 10:21 a.m.
  • A report of property damage was made at the 800 block of West Industrial Loop at 10:59 a.m.
  • A dog was returned to its owner at the animal shelter at 601 N. Dubois St. at 10:24 a.m.
  • A welfare concern call was transferred to Taylor County at 11:19 a.m.
  • A report of loose livestock was made on FM 207 at 12:35 p.m.
  • Identity theft was reported to the Law Enforcement Center at 12:54 p.m.
  • A report of loose livestock was made at FM 207 and CR 141 at 4:21 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the 200 block of West Seventh Street at 4:31 p.m.

  • An officer made a traffic stop at Court and Williams streets at 12:27 a.m.
  • A repossession was reported in the 500 block of West Walker at 3:22 a.m.
  • A sergeant advised of a field interview in the 200 block of North Miller Avenue at 3:38 a.m.
  • A repossession was reported in the 100 block of East First Street at 4:42 a.m.
  • Several officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Industrial Loop at 4:43 a.m.
  • A repossession was reported in the 2600 block of West Walker at 4:55 a.m.
  • A funeral escort was provided on West Walker Street at 10:30 a.m.
  • A medic responded to a request for an ambulance in the 14000 block of CR 168 at 8:06 a.m.

  • An officer advised of a subject burning illegally inside the city limits in the 1200 block of East Elm Street at 3:45 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a group of kids on skateboards cutting off traffic in the 900 block of East Walker at 5:14 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity near the 1000 block of East Lindsey Street at 5:22 p.m.
  • The police chief and an officer responded to a report of an injured animal in the 800 block of Industrial Loop at 6:40 p.m.
  • A report of loose livestock was made at FM 576 and CR 293 at 7:24 p.m.
  • A deputy and game warden were notified of suspicious activity in Caddo on Highway 180 at 8:42 p.m.
  • A report of loud music was made at Court and Seventh streets at 9:05 p.m.
  • A traffic stop was made in the 100 block of South Breckenridge Avenue at 10:35 p.m.
  • A welfare concern was made at East Fourth Street at 10:50 p.m.
Sunday, January 24
  • A medic, Stephens County Sheriff Office, and the Breckenridge Fire Department responded to FM 3201 at 12:05 a.m.
  • Two officers responded to a report of an assault at the 200 block of South Geneva Street at 2:35 a.m.
  • A traffic stop was made at the 500 block of West Walker Street at 1:56 a.m.
  • A loose dog was reported on FM 1287 at 6:21 a.m.
  • A deputy located a juvenile runaway out of Eastland County at 8:32 a.m.
  • Two officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject in the area of Hartford and Walker streets at 12:47 p.m.
  • A deputy was advised of an attempt to locate an overdue subject at 12:47 p.m.
  • Several officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the parking of 3800 W. Walker St. at 1:07 p.m.
  • Two officers responded to the 1000 block of West Lindsey Street for a welfare check at 2:10 p.m.
  • A report of a sewer stoppage was made in the 1300 block of West Dyer Street at 4:24 p.m.
Arrest Report
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested on Jan. 18 after turning himself in on an Erath County warrant for revocation of probation on a theft of property conviction.
  • A 40-year-old man was arrested on Jan. 18 on charges of criminal mischief, more than $100 but less than $750.
  • A 22-year-old woman was arrested on Jan. 21 after turning herself in for a Stephens County warrant that had been issued for charges of credit card or debit card abuse against the elderly.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested on Jan. 22 on a Stephens County warrant for a Class A misdemeanor of assault causing bodily injury.
  • A 33-year-old man was arrested on Jan. 24 on charges related to the violation of a bond/protective order with two previous convictions and for making a terroristic threat.
