Bright and early Wednesday morning, Oct. 22, a group of local volunteers gathered at First Methodist Church to start baking for the upcoming Turkey Dinner, scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 13.

As we approach mid-November, the calendar is filling up with holiday events, from the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree, along with Mingle and Jingle, this weekend to the Christmas parade next month.
The Turkey Dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Turkey Dinner is scheduled for Nov. 9 at First Methodist Church. Tickets are on sale now.
Tickets for the Turkey Dinner must be purchased in advance.
