This year, the Breckenridge Junior High School took on the challenge of organizing a theater group and entering the UIL One-Act Play contest for the first time.

With a flip of a switch Friday evening, downtown Breckenridge was turned into a holiday wonderland with the lighting of the community Christmas tree.

The Breckenridge Craft Guild will host its annual Craft Show this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 22 and 23, at the Breckenridge First Methodist Church’s Christian Life Center, 419 W. Walker St.
