Swenson Memorial Museum gives away griddle in fundraiser
On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14, staff and board members of the Swenson Memorial Museum gathered to hold the drawing for a Blackstone griddle featured in a recent fundraiser. Kari Anderson was the winner.
The museum raised about $3,700 through ticket sales for the drawing for the griddle, which they purchased at a discount. The local historical museum is funded through donations.
The 36-inch propane-fueled griddle came with a 21-piece utensil set with a portable case. Breckenridge Texan Editor Carla McKeown pulled the winning name from the hopper at the request of the museum staff.
