BHS pep rallies scheduled for noon on Fridays of home games
With the new four-day school week for Breckenridge schools this year, one of the things that needed to be reconfigured was the weekly pep rallies that the high school holds before varsity football games.
The pep rallies have traditionally been held on Friday mornings in the school gym. But, since the students won’t be at school on most Fridays this year, Breckenridge High School officials considered a variety of options.
This week, the cheerleaders and athletics department announced that pep rallies will be held at noon on Fridays of home games. The location of the pep rallies will vary, with most being held at the Stephens County Courthouse. Pep rallies will not be held for away games.
Fall 2023 BHS Pep Rally Dates
- Friday, Sept. 1 – Noon – LT Cook Gym
- Friday, Sept. 15 – Noon – Homecoming – AFA Main Gym
- Friday, Oct. 6 – Noon – Stephens County Courthouse
- Friday, Oct. 13 – Noon – Stephens County Courthouse
- Friday, Oct. 27 – Noon – Stephens County Courthouse
