  • A sergeant advised of a traffic stop near the 200 block of South Miller Street and an officer responded.
  • Harassment was reported at 7:04 a.m.
  • A medic responded to an ambulance request in the 1100 block of East Hullum Street at 10:18 a.m.
  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 600 block of North Harvey Street at 10:28 a.m.
  • A dog was reported loose at 705 Industrial Loop at 10:35 a.m.
  • A funeral escort was provided at 1101 W. Walker St. at 11:06 a.m.
  • Credit card fraud in the 1200 block of West Elm Street was reported to the Law Enforcement Center at 12:35 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity at on County Road 217 at 1:12 p.m.
  • A captain responded to a report of a sales scam and counterfeit check at 3:45 p.m.
  • Traffic control was provided for the helipad at 200 S. Geneva St. at 2:58 p.m.
  • Criminal mischief was reported at on County Road 225 at 5:01 p.m.
  • Employees at a retail store recovered and reported prescription medication in a bag. A captain responded and submitted the medication for destruction at 5:03 p.m.
  • A welfare concern was reported at County Road 141 at 5:04 p.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a 911 hang up call in the 1100 block of East Wheeler Street at 7:05 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a vehicle that hit a deer on the Industrial Loop at 7:33 p.m.
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop at 900 W. Hullum St. and arrested a subject on 4 warrants at 7:35 p.m.
  • Two officers and a sergeant responded to the 1100 block of East Wheeler Street in reference to a disturbance at 8:26 p.m.
  • A deputy served a protective order in the 600 block of South Rose Avenue at 8:59 p.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of West Sixth Street at 9:00 p.m.
  • A deputy advised of an attempted civil service in the 300 block of South Lowell at 9:11 p.m.

  • A funeral escort was provided at 8:54 a.m.
  • A wrecker was reported as needed at U.S. Highway 180 at 8:23 a.m.
  • Credit card fraud was reported in the 200 block of Penbrook Street at 9:17 a.m.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at the 1100 block of East Wheeler Street at 9:28 a.m.
  • Theft was reported at the 1100 block of East Hullum Street at 10:17 a.m.
  • A fire drill was conducted at 200 S. Geneva St. at 10:44 a.m.
  • A warrant was confirmed for the Taylor County Sheriff Office at 11:51 a.m.

  • An officer responded to an attempted burglary report in the 400 block of North Court Street at 1:05 a.m.
  • An officer advised of a foot patrol in the 500 block of West Lindsey at 2:45 a.m.
  • Three officers, a medic, and fire captain responded to a report in the 100 block of West Fifth Street. Medic advised and there was no transport. The vehicle was towed. 8:20 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a welfare check in the area of Shelton and First Street at 8:45 a.m.
  • An officer was requested for a property follow up in the area of Rose Avenue at 8:43 a.m.
  • A found wallet was returned to a subject in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center at 9:21 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a possible protective order violation in the 400 block of North Court Street at 10:18 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a loose dog at the 1100 block of West Lindsey and the dog was returned to its owner at 12:22 p.m.
  • A chief deputy responded to a welfare check in the 9400 block of West U.S. Highway 180 at 1:06 p.m.
  • A repo was reported in the 9400 block of West U.S. Highway 180 at 1:23 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a possible violation of a protective order in the 400 block of North Court Street at 2:21 p.m.
  • Two officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of North Court Street at 3:45 p.m.
  • An officer responded to the 600 block of North Parks Street for a loose dog at 4:14 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to East Highway 180 to look for a motorist enroute to the hospital at 5:40 p.m.
  • A deputy spoke with a subject on the phone at the Law Enforcement center at 5:55 p.m.
  • Several officers and deputies responded to a request for a missing person out of Angelina County. The person was found at 5:59 p.m.
  • A request was received at the Law Enforcement Center via phone call for the Ministerial Alliance at 6:46 p.m.
  • A sergeant arrested a subject on a warrant in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street at 7:18 p.m.
  • A deputy arrested a subject on a warrant in the 1700 block of FM 3201 at 9:04 p.m.
Thursday, December 31, 2020
  • An officer responded to an alarm in the 1800 block of West Walker Street at 2.49 a.m.
  • A medic responded to a medical request in the 1100 block of West Dyer Street at 6:20 a.m.
  • A firefighter responded to Private Road 32531 to locate a grass fire at 7:57 a.m.
  • An officer spoke with a subject in the Law Enforcement Center lobby about credit card abuse at 8:47 a.m.
  • A medic responded to the 4100 block of FM 1800 and transported a person to Stephens Memorial Hospital at 9:01 a.m.
  • A medic responded to 4100 block of FM 1800 and transported a person to Stephens Memorial Hospital at 9:33 a.m.
  • Several officers, firefighters, and a medic responded to an accident in the 400 block of South Breckenridge Avenue at 10:28 a.m. No one was transported to the hospital and there was no wrecker.
  • An officer responded to the hospital at 200 S. Geneva St. in reference to a cat bite at 1:25 p.m.
  • A sewer stoppage was reported in the 400 block of South Graham Street at 1:55 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a request to speak with a deputy in the 3600 block of East U.S. Highway 180 at 5:34 p.m.
  • Two officers responded to an alarm activation in the 900 block of West Wheeler Street at 3:46 p.m.
  • An officer and sergeant responded to a request at a minor accident at 3208 W. Walker St. at 7:16 p.m.
  • Officers and medics responded to the 2600 block of West Walker Street for a minor accident at 9:15 p.m.
  • Report of a reckless driver near West Fourth Street and Pecan Street at 9:23 p.m.
  • A fire department captain responded to a report of fireworks in the 300 block of South McAmis Street at 9:24 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a request to speak with an officer on the phone at 210 E. Dyer St. at 9:38 p.m.
  • A sergeant responded to a report of loud music in the 400 block of North Parks Street at 10:06 p.m.

  • Two officers responded to a report of a power outage at 1309 Renee St at 12:06 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity at 801 E. Wheeler St. at 12:22 p.m.
  • An officer conducted a field interview near 700 N. Parks St. at 12:47 a.m.

  • An ambulance was requested in the 1300 block of West Elliott Street and a medic responded at 12:03 p.m.
  • An ambulance was requested in the 3200 block of West Walker Street and a medic responded at 12:25 p.m.
  • Loud music was reported in the 1200 block of West Dyer Street at 2:55 p.m.
  • Loose livestock was reported on FM 1287 at 3:43 p.n.
  • No water was reported at the 600 block of North Parks due to repairs at 4:18 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a residence alarm in the 1000 block of East Lindsey Street at 6:56 p.m.
  • A water leak was reported in the 600 block of North Shelton at 7:08 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a request to speak with an officer at the Law Enforcement Center at 9:32 p.m.
  • An officer and sergeant arrested a subject with a warrant during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Walker Street at 10:16 p.m.
Arrest Report for week of Dec. 28-Jan. 3
  • A 27-year-old woman was arrested by the Breckenridge Police Department on Dec. 28, 2020, and transported to the Stephens County Jail for several warrants, include a Blue Warrant issued by the Pardon and Parole Board; and, a Shackelford County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram, amphetamine possession;. On Dec. 29, she was served with a Stephens County warrant for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams. On Dec. 30, she was arrested on several more warrants for Tampering with Evidence, bond amount $15,000; Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, bond amount $10,000; Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, bond $15,000; and, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams, bond $25,000.
  • On Dec. 28, 2020, the Breckenridge Police Department arrested a 29-year-old male on several warrants, including Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive, a third degree felony with a $15,000 bond; a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for Violation of Promise to Appear with a $319.50 fine; a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for failure to report change of address/name with a $331 fine; and a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for open container with a $460 fine.
  • On Dec. 30, an 18-year-old man was arrested on a local warrant.
  • On Jan. 2, a 31-year-old man was arrested and transported to the Stephens County Jail on several charges, including evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence with intent to impair.
  • On Jan. 3, a 42-year-old man was arrested for a warrant for Terroristic Threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury.
