  • Employees at a retail store recovered and reported prescription medication in a bag. A captain responded and submitted the medication for destruction at 5:03 p.m.
  • A welfare concern was reported at County Road 141 at 5:04 p.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a 911 hang up call in the 1100 block of East Wheeler Street at 7:05 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a vehicle that hit a deer on the Industrial Loop at 7:33 p.m.
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop at 900 W. Hullum St. and arrested a subject on 4 warrants at 7:35 p.m.
  • Two officers and a sergeant responded to the 1100 block of East Wheeler Street in reference to a disturbance at 8:26 p.m.

  • Three officers, a medic, and fire captain responded to a report in the 100 block of West Fifth Street. Medic advised and there was no transport. The vehicle was towed. 8:20 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a welfare check in the area of Shelton and First Street at 8:45 a.m.
  • An officer was requested for a property follow up in the area of Rose Avenue at 8:43 a.m.
  • A found wallet was returned to a subject in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center at 9:21 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a possible protective order violation in the 400 block of North Court Street at 10:18 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a loose dog at the 1100 block of West Lindsey and the dog was returned to its owner at 12:22 p.m.
  • A chief deputy responded to a welfare check in the 9400 block of West U.S. Highway 180 at 1:06 p.m.
  • A repo was reported in the 9400 block of West U.S. Highway 180 at 1:23 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a possible violation of a protective order in the 400 block of North Court Street at 2:21 p.m.
  • Two officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of North Court Street at 3:45 p.m.
  • An officer responded to the 600 block of North Parks Street for a loose dog at 4:14 p.m.

  • A firefighter responded to Private Road 32531 to locate a grass fire at 7:57 a.m.
  • An officer spoke with a subject in the Law Enforcement Center lobby about credit card abuse at 8:47 a.m.
  • A medic responded to the 4100 block of FM 1800 and transported a person to Stephens Memorial Hospital at 9:01 a.m.

  • Several officers, firefighters, and a medic responded to an accident in the 400 block of South Breckenridge Avenue at 10:28 a.m. No one was transported to the hospital and there was no wrecker.

  • An officer and sergeant arrested a subject with a warrant during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Walker Street at 10:16 p.m.
Arrest Report for week of Dec. 28-Jan. 3
  • A 27-year-old woman was arrested by the Breckenridge Police Department on Dec. 28, 2020, and transported to the Stephens County Jail for several warrants, include a Blue Warrant issued by the Pardon and Parole Board; and, a Shackelford County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram, amphetamine possession;. On Dec. 29, she was served with a Stephens County warrant for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams. On Dec. 30, she was arrested on several more warrants for Tampering with Evidence, bond amount $15,000; Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, bond amount $10,000; Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, bond $15,000; and, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams, bond $25,000.
  • On Dec. 28, 2020, the Breckenridge Police Department arrested a 29-year-old male on several warrants, including Hindering Apprehension of a Fugitive, a third degree felony with a $15,000 bond; a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for Violation of Promise to Appear with a $319.50 fine; a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for failure to report change of address/name with a $331 fine; and a Stephens County Precinct 1 warrant for open container with a $460 fine.
  • On Dec. 30, an 18-year-old man was arrested on a local warrant.
  • On Jan. 2, a 31-year-old man was arrested and transported to the Stephens County Jail on several charges, including evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence with intent to impair.
  • On Jan. 3, a 42-year-old man was arrested for a warrant for Terroristic Threat causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury.
