  • The captain and an officer followed up in the 1300 block of East Walker Street regarding an ongoing investigation at 8:37 a.m.; a criminal trespass warning was issued.

  • A deputy, with two officers, responded to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of South Live Oak Street at 7:36 p.m.
  • A resident spoke with an officer over the phone about a possible scam at 8:33 p.m.
  • Medics responded to the 100 block of North Palmer Street at 8:54 p.m.
  • Officers at the Law Enforcement Center received found property at 9:00 p.m.
  • A deputy performed a property check in the 100 block of CR 256 at 10:05 p.m.

  • The BFD, the Police Chief, and an officer responded to a report of a hit gas line in the 300 block of South Miller Street at 8:48 a.m.
  • The Police Chief spoke to residents in the 400 block of West Elliott Street about a loose dog at 9:12 a.m.
  • An ACO retrieved an animal carcass in the 300 block of North Baylor Street at 10:09 a.m.
  • An officer responded to the Breckenridge Fire Chief’s report of suspicious behavior in the 600 block of North Parks Street at 10:38 a.m.
  • The Stephens County Chief Deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 11000 block of Highway 67 at 11:04 a.m.
  • The Stephens County Sheriff provided a civil standby in the 5300 block of U.S. Highway 180 West at 11:23 a.m.
  • The captain responded to a report of criminal mischief at the Trade Barn at 1:15 p.m.
  • An officer requested a blotter entry in reference to counterfeit money at 1:23 p.m.
  • An officer performed a welfare check in the 1200 block of West Walker Street at 1:26 p.m.
  • The Breckenridge Fire Department and Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department, with the Chief Deputy, responded to a grass fire in the 800 block of CR 213 at 2:09 p.m.
  • An officer provided a civil standby in the 100 block of North Hartford Street at 4:11 p.m.
  • The Sheriff arrested an individual on a warrant in the 1400 block of West Walker Street at 5:40 p.m.
  • A resident requested an ambulance in the 800 block of West Industrial Loop at 5:42 p.m.
  • The BFD assisted Eastland County with a grass fire on CR 298 at 5:54 p.m.
  • Medics responded to the 1900 block of CR 215 at 9:18 p.m.
  • Officers at the Law Enforcement Center received a request for assistance from an outside agency at 9:35 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of theft near the 100 block of North Hartford Street at 9:56 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a minor accident near CR 315 at 10:44 p.m.
  • A deputy was out with loose livestock near the intersection of Highway 67 South and FM 1800 at 11:21 p.m.
  • An officer responded to an alarm near the 1200 block of West Walker Street at 11:39 p.m.
  • At 11:56 p.m., a deputy and medics responded to a structure fire near the 9100 block of CR 299.
 Wednesday, July 15, 2020
  • The Police Chief, a sergeant, and an officer assisted medics in the 1000 block of East Hullum Street at 7:50 a.m.; one subject was transported to the Stephens Memorial Hospital.
  • The HCVFD went to CR 299 at 8:43 a.m. to perform a follow up on a fire from the previous night.
  • A sergeant spoke with a subject on the phone in reference to a civil matter at 9:30 a.m.
  • Medics responded to the 500 block of South Parks Street and transported a subject to the Stephens Memorial Hospital at 9:30 a.m.
  • An officer arrested a subject on a warrant in the 200 block of West Walker Street at 9:51 a.m.
  • A sergeant responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of South Geneva Street at 12:03 p.m.
  • A resident reported an abandoned vehicle in the 2300 block of West Walker Street at 12:50 p.m.
  • The Sheriff performed a welfare check in the 800 block of CR 262 at 3:03 p.m.
