Breckenridge Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met last week and approved several resolutions and received an update on school funding.

The first day of school will be Aug. 8.
Patricia Gonzalez will be the new principal of Breckenridge’s South Elementary.
The program will be offered Monday-Thursday June 5-22.
Nic McClymond will be the new school board president.
The 2023 graduation will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 26.
The Teachers of the Year and Students of the Month, as well as some National Honor Society students, were honored at the meeting.
The Breckenridge Independent School District honored the Students of the Month at their April Board of Trustees meeting earlier this week.
The first day of school is scheduled for Aug. 8.
