The first day of school for Breckenridge students is just about a month away, and East and South elementary schools have posted their school supply lists.

Breckenridge Independent School District will have new student registration assistance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 21 and 22. Students going into pre-k through fifth grade can be registered at East Elementary, 1301 E. Elm St., and students in grades sixth through 12th can register at the Breckenridge Junior High and High School.

Meet the Teacher for elementary students will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 6, and the first day of school will be Monday, Aug. 10.
