Stephens Regional SUD rescinds April 15 Boil Water Notice for rural water customers
The Stephens Regional Special Utility District has rescinded the Boil Water Notice for its customers that were affected by the notice issued on Wednesday, April 15.
On April 15, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Stephens Regional Special Utility District public water system, PWS 2150007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers that, due to a waterline break, the water from the SRSUD system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
Stephens Regional SUD reports that they have taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by the public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and have provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of April 17.
If you have questions concerning this matter, contact Kelvin Nickell, water plant operator, at 254-559-6180. The District’s office is located at 206 FM 3099 in Breckenridge.
