Breckenridge Texan

Beginning Wednesday, March 4, the Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor will begin routine maintenance work on and under the U.S. Highway 180 bridge over Hubbard Creek Reservoir, aka the “Mile-Long Bridge.”

Work will be performed from approximately 7 a,m. to 5 p.m. each day and is anticipated to take two weeks to complete, weather cooperating. During that time, motorists can expect periodic single-lane closures to provide a safe work area for personnel and equipment.

Motorists are asked to use caution, obey all waring signs, avoid distractions, and watch for crews and equipment in and near the work zone.
