First Methodist Church of Breckenridge, 419 W. Walker, and several other local churches will provide free lunches for Breckenridge Independent School District children with the Feed My Lambs summer meal program for the next few weeks. The meals will be delivered to those who sign up in advance.

The Feed My Lambs program will pick up after the BISD summer meal program ends on Thursday, June 19. Click here for more information about the BISD summer breakfast and lunch program.

The ministry will provide free lunches for local children on Monday through Friday from June 23 until school begins. In order to get the meals delivered, families need to go to the sign-up form online (click here) and provide information, such as the number of meals needed (for children ages 18 and younger), the names of the kids, the address, etc.

The lunches, provided by First Methodist Church and several other churches, will be delivered from approximately 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on  the following dates:

  • June 23-27: First Methodist Church
  • June 30- July 3: Christian Fellowship
  • July 7-11: First Christian Church
  • July 14-18: First Baptist Church
  • July 21-25: The Lighthouse Church
