The Stephens County Frontier Days, hosted by the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce earlier this month, included many activities over the two-day event, including a bake-off and a car show.
The bake-off brought in a variety of cakes and cookies, competing for the three prizes. After samples were taken for the judges, the entries were given away in a drawing.
The bake-off winners were:
- First Place ($100 prize): Denay Mirabella, chocolate butterscotch surprise cake
- Second Place ($75 prize): Leslie Harrison, mandarin orange cake
- Third Place ($25 prize): Donna Walker, strawberry cake
The car show winners were:
- Best in Show: Bobby Cleveland
- Best Paint: Earl Clayton
- People’s Choice: Earl Clayton
Other activities going on throughout the two-day Frontier Days, which took place in the Trade Barn are of the Breckenridge City Park, included face painting, small carnival rides in the Kids Zone, pictures at the 360 Photo Booth, cow patty bingo, stick horse races, gunfighter show, shopping at the vendor and food booths, karaoke and more. And, of course, there was the chuckwagon cook-off, Miss Breckenridge pageant and the Breck’s Got Talent competition. Click the links below to read about some of the others Frontier Days events:
