South PTO raises more than $2,500 with McTeacher Night

When the teachers and staff of Breckenridge’s South Elementary went to work at the local McDonald’s restaurant on Tuesday evening, they were donating their time and energy to raising funds for the South Elementary PTO.

Proceeds that were generated during the two-hour event at the Breckenridge McDonald’s, owned and operated by the Whealy family, were donated to the organization. The $2,557 that was donated to the PTO will be used to fund a variety of projects for the school.
