Martha Ann Bird was born December 18, 1939, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents Horace William Bird and Mary Elizabeth Post Bird. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1958. On April 1, 1961, Martha married Thad Carl Kelley. Martha loved everyone, not just her family, and people loved her back. She also loved animals of all kinds, domestic and wild. Her family will remember her as an extraordinary mother, a wonderful wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She will also be remembered as a warm and funny woman who loved to laugh and smile.

Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mary Bird; and her husband, Thad Kelley.

Mrs. Kelley is survived by one son, Tim Kelley and wife Kim of Dallas, and their three children, Michael Thad Kelley, Katherine Suzanne Kelley, Elizabeth Anne Kelley; one daughter, Tracey Kelley Fambro and husband Neil of Breckenridge, and their six children, Cade Sullivan and wife Megan, Kelby Sullivan and fiancé Julia Brown, Taylor Fambro, Kyle Fambro and wife Maritza, Nicole Fambro Pearson and husband Garrett, and Ashly Fambro; one brother, Bill Bird and wife Anita of Midlothian; six great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
