A couple of ways have been set up for the community to support the family of Dakota Boulevard, who died Sunday when he and his wife, Mindy, were caught in a thunderstorm while kayaking on Hubbard Creek Reservoir.

An account has been set up on the fundraising site GiveSendGo, which allows donors to make payments online with a credit or debit card. Additionally, there’s a place to leave a message to let the family know you’re praying for them, and a “Share” button to post a link to the donation page on a social media page or in an email. Click here for the “Supporting the Boulevard Family” GiveSendGo page.

The Boulevards moved to Breckenridge in 2020 and opened the Little Caesar’s Express pizza restaurant here last year. They had previously lived in Midland and Granbury. Dakota leaves behind his wife, Mindy; his three sons, Aiden, Lexington and Emerson; his daughter, Desiree, son-in-law, Bailey, and grandson, Jack; as well as other family members and numerous friends.

Those who would like to help the family may also sign up to deliver a meal to the family or make a monetary donation through the Meal Train website account that has been set up. Click here to visit the Meal Train site.
