Breckenridge elementary students celebrate fundraising efforts with Day of Awesomeness
Breckenridge’s East and South Elementary School students celebrated their recent fundraising efforts with the promised Day of Awesomeness.
After spending the past few weeks raising money through the Step It Up/PoP program, the students were treated to some fun time at Buckaroo Stadium on Friday, March 10.
The event included eight inflatable bounce house-style games, including an obstacle course, giant slide, basketball hoop and other sports-related games, and one of the favorites, the Toxic Meltdown, which required participants to react quickly to jump over or duck under the rotate arms.
Additionally, there was a pop-up Cash Cube, where qualifying students and teachers could grab as much floating cash as they could.
