The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s 31st annual Juried Art Show will open to the public on Saturday, July 23.

This year’s show features 86 pieces of art from 55 artists, including paintings, sculpture and mixed media pieces.

Breckenridge artist Doylene Land is the show’s juror. Her oil paintings were featured in a 2020 exhibit at the BFAC, and she was one of five artists included in the Winter Exhibit earlier this year.

The 2022 Juried Art Show brought in entries from across the country and will be on exhibit through September.

An artists’ reception is scheduled for Sept. 10, the last day of the show. At that time, the awards with prizes totaling more than $5,000 will be presented.

For more information, visit the website www.breckenridgefineart.org or call BFAC Director Shalon Wilson at 254-559-6602. The BFAC is located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Although the BFAC is closed on Saturdays (as well as Sundays and Mondays) during the summers, it will be open on July 23 for the juried show exhibit.
