City of Breckenridge reschedules Commission meeting due to COVID-19

The Breckenridge City Commissioners meeting, which had been scheduled for tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 4, has been canceled and rescheduled due to close-contact COVID-19 exposure within the City staff.

The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Additionally, the retirement party for Fire Chief Calvin Chaney, scheduled for Friday, Jan. 7, has been canceled and will be held at a later date.

Due to the COVID-19 exposure, the City offices, located at 105 N. Rose Ave., will be closed for public access. However, employees will be on hand to answer phone calls. Also, the public may use the kiosk in the building’s entryway or the drop box outside the building to make payments.
