Monday, July 27

  • The Breckenridge Police Department notified Eastland County of loose livestock on FM 1853 at 8:22 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a welfare concern in the 800 block of Industrial Loop at 10:18 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 100 block of West Williams Street at 10:19 a.m.
  • An officer was in the 900 block of West Walker Street in reference to a criminal trespass report at 12:03 p.m.
  • The Police Chief and an officer responded to a theft report in the 3700 block of West Walker Street at 1:05 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of West Lindsey Street at 1:20 p.m.
  • A resident reported an animal carcass in the roadway near the 800 block of West Dyer Street at 2:48 p.m.
  • A Stephens County Sheriff’s Office deputy assisted with a vehicle breakdown on U.S. Highway 180 West at 5:16 p.m.
  • A deputy provided a civil standby near the 500 block of Ridgeway Circle at 6:54 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a report of tree limbs in the roadway near the area of U.S. Highway 180 West at 7:25 p.m.
  • A deputy and an officer responded to a welfare concern near the 800 block of North Butte Street at 8:02 p.m.
  • The BPD received a request at the Law Enforcement Center in reference to a stolen credit card at 8:16 p.m.
  • The BPD received a report of loose animals near the 400 block of North Court Street at 8:31 p.m.
  • At 9:25 p.m., fire units, medics, a sergeant, and an officer responded to a minor accident near the 2900 block of West Walker Street.
Tuesday, July 28
  • Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle near the 500 block of South Parks Street at 12:02 a.m.
  • AMR medics responded to the 300 block of West Third Street at 1:49 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity near the 1000 block of East Williams Street at 6:51 a.m.
  • A sergeant spoke with a subject on the phone in reference to a civil matter at 10:34 a.m.
  • The Chief Deputy assisted in a report of loose donkeys on U.S. Highway 180 West at 10:40 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 180 West at 11:23 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of two loose dogs in the 600 block of West Williams Street at 12:52 p.m.; one was returned to its owner and the other got away.
  • Officers responded to a report of trespassing in the 300 block of West Fifth Street at 2:14 p.m.
  • An officer provided a civil standby in the 600 block of East Cottage Street at 3:40 p.m.
  • An officer assisted a vehicle on the side of the roadway in the 3800 block of West Walker Street at 5:42 p.m.
  • An officer was out in the 100 block of North Parks Street in reference to a suspicious person at 5:53 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 900 block of West Williams Street at 6:11 p.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity on Live Oak Street behind the gym at 7:26 p.m.
  • A sergeant reported three illegally parked vehicles on the west side of the school at 7:35 p.m.
  • Medics responded to the 9600 block of CR 203 at 8:47 p.m.
  • A resident requested close patrol in the 1100 block of North Baylor Street at 9:29 p.m.
  • Medics responded to the 500 block of East Walker Street at 10:47 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Sixth Street at 11:29 p.m.
  • A sergeant reported suspicious activity near the new gym at the high school at 11:40 p.m.
Wednesday, July 29
  • Medics responded to the 1100 block of West Elm Street at 6:52 a.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a disturbance report in the 500 block of East Lindsey Street at 7:18 a.m.
  • An officer provided a civil standby in the 600 block of East Power Street at 7:57 a.m.
  • The Chief Deputy, a sergeant, and an officer responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of North Court Street at 2:31 p.m.
  • The Breckenridge Fire Departmetn and an officer from the BPD responded to a request for assistance in reference to a power line down in the 700 block of West Hullum Street at 2:45 p.m.
  • The Police Chief was out in the 1200 block of West Hullum Street to recover drug paraphernalia at 3:09 p.m.
  • The Police Chief and an officer recovered drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of North Breckenridge Avenue at 3:15 p.m.
  • The BFD and an officer from the BPD responded to a house fire on the corner of Dyer Street and Butte Street at 5:26 p.m.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist in the 1000 block of CR 260 at 6:44 p.m.
  • A sergeant spoke with a subject at the Law Enforcement Center about terroristic threats at 6:45 p.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of South Breckenridge Avenue at 8:30 p.m.
  • At 9:59 p.m., a deputy provided a civil standby in the 800 block of West Industrial Loop.
Thursday, July 30
  • Medics and an officer from the BPD responded to a request in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street at 2:08 a.m.
  • Medics responded to the 1300 block of East Walker Street at 5:33 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a skunk in a trap in the 2300 block of Sha Lane at 6:40 a.m.
  • Officers received a report from the water department about an odor of gas from a manhole in the intersection of Miller Street and Third Street at 8:44 a.m.
  • A sergeant responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 3700 block of West Walker Street at 11:47 a.m.
  • An officer made a traffic stop on East Elliott Street at 1:10 p.m.
  • Officers received a report of retaliation in the 2300 block of West Walker Street at 2:00 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a report of harassment in the 700 block of CR 310 at 3:53 p.m.
  • A deputy returned a phone call in reference to a civil matter at 4:40 p.m.
  • The BFD, the Police Chief, the Chief Deputy, and medics responded to a one-vehicle roll-over on FM 3099 North at 5:30 p.m.; the vehicle was towed and no one was injured.
  • An officer spoke with a subject in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center about suspicious activity at 5:41 p.m.
  • The Sheriff made a traffic stop near the 1600 block of West Walker Street at 7:35 p.m.
  • Officers received a report of a loose cow on the east side of the roadway between Albany and Throckmorton at 7:47 p.m.
  • A deputy responded to a theft report near the 5100 block of U.S. Highway 180 East at 7:52 p.m.

  • A resident reported a fire in the 7600 block of CR 300 at 8:53 a.m.; the call was transferred to Palo Pinto County.
  • An officer responded to a request in the 1200 block of West Fourth Street at 10:22 a.m.
  • A resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Sha Lane at 11:52 a.m.

  • The BPD received a request for assistance from an outside agency near the intersection of U.S Highway 183 South and CR 192 at 6:38 a.m.
  • A subject came into the Law Enforcement Center to report assault at 8:12 a.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 3700 block of West Walker Street at 8:54 a.m.
  • Medics responded to a request for an ambulance on CR 215 at 9:14 a.m.
  • An officer was out on Breckenridge Avenue for traffic control at 10:08 a.m.
  • The Chief Deputy responded to a report of loose livestock on FM 1148 at 10:23 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a welfare concern in the 400 block of West Elliott Street at 10:40 a.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of North Dairy Street at 10:42 a.m.
  • A resident requested an ambulance at Loop 252 in Caddo at 10:49 a.m.

  • Medics, a deputy, and an officer responded to a request for medical attention at the Stephens County Jail at 11:44 p.m.
Arrest Report – Week of July 27
  • On July 31, a 28-year-old female was arrested on a Stephens County Warrant for Obstruction or Retaliation; she was transported to Stephens County Jail without incident.
  • A 37-year-old woman was arrested on July 31 for Public Intoxication.
  • A 40-year-old male was arrested on Aug. 1 on a warrant from an outside agency.
  • On Aug. 1, a 50-year-old male was arrested on a Parker County warrant for Driving while Intoxicated (three or more offenses) and transported to Stephens County Jail without incident.
