  • The Breckenridge Fire Department responded to fallen power lines on CR 176 at 8:52 a.m.
  • A subject came to the Law Enforcement Center to retrieve lost property at 8:55 a.m.
  • A woman came to the LEC to speak with an officer about charges filed against her son at 9:29 a.m.
  • A BPD Captain spoke with a subject at the LEC at 11:46 a.m. about juvenile driver license restrictions.
  • The Breckenridge Police Chief and an animal control officer responded to an injured dog in the 100 block of Cactus Cove at 1:36 p.m.

  • The Sheriff, with a deputy, responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of PR 1833 at 12:43 a.m.
  • Medics responded to a request for a lift assist in the 1100 block of East Lindsey Street at 6:31 a.m.
  • A deputy responded to a report of a cow out on U.S. Highway 183 South at 8:12 a.m.
  • A sergeant and an officer responded to the 400 block of North Court Street at 9:00 a.m.
  • The Sheriff, with a deputy, assisted traffic on the Mile Long Bridge at 9:15 a.m.
  • The BPD and BFD assisted with a funeral escort through Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home at 11:12 a.m.
  • The Police Chief and an ACO were dispatched to the 1100 block of East Walker Street in reference to an animal carcass at 11:22 a.m.
  • The Sheriff and a deputy responded to suspicious activity in the 9000 block of PR 1148 at 12:09 p.m.
  • A captain, a sergeant, and an officer responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of North Court Street at 2:52 p.m.
  • Medics responded to the 2800 block of West Walker Street at 3:36 p.m.
  • An officer advised of attempting to contact a subject in the 1300 block of West First Street at 3:44 p.m.
  • An ACO, with the Police Chief and an officer, retrieved an animal carcass from West Fifth Street at 4:09 p.m.
  • An officer spoke with a subject reporting harassment in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center at 4:45 p.m.
  • The BPD and Stephens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a subject on a warrant in the 900 block of West Hullum Street at 6:20 p.m.
  • A sergeant responded to an animal in a trap in the 600 block of West Hullum Street at 9:02 p.m.
  • The Police Chief and an ACO responded to an animal carcass in the 3700 block of Cactus Cove at 9:12 p.m.
  • An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Harding Avenue in reference to a disturbance at 9:55 p.m.
  • A sergeant was advised of found property near Peeler’s Pier at 10:27 p.m.
  • At 11:23 p.m., an officer assisted a sergeant in a warrant arrest near the intersection of Elm Street and Parks Street.

  • Medics, fire units, and a deputy responded to a structure fire near the 600 block of CR 146 East at 1:00 a.m.
  • Medics responded to a request near the 5300 block of U.S. Highway 180 West at 4:52 a.m.
  • Multiple sergeants and officers responded to a report of assault in the 200 block of West Elliott Street at 7:03 a.m.
  • The Sheriff was dispatched to CR 126 at 8:16 a.m., where a resident reported loose cows.
  • The Police Chief, with an officer, responded to an aggressive dog in the 600 block of West Walker Street at 8:26 a.m.
  • The Sheriff was out with an abandoned vehicle and trailer on FM 207 at 9:27 a.m.
  • An officer responded to an aggressive dog in the 200 block of South Jackson Street at 9:36 a.m.
  • The Police Chief and a firefighter responded to a gas leak in the 3000 block of West Walker Street at 10:47 a.m.
  • A deputy responded to the 3600 block of U.S. Highway 180 East at 4:10 p.m.
  • The BPD, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, BFD, American Medical Response, and the Department of Public Safety were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on Highway 67 at 5:25 p.m.
  • An officer assisted a motorist in the 1200 block of West Dyer Street at 5:49 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of a reckless driver in the 100 block of Walker Street at 6:44 p.m.
  • The Firefighter Captain advised the BFD was enroute to a grass fire near the intersection of CR 578 and FM 1481 at 7:44 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a business alarm near the 3700 block of West Walker Street at 8:42 p.m.
  • The BPD responded to a request from a business in the 200 block of West Williams Street at 8:51 p.m.

Arrest Report – Week of July 6-12, 2020
  • A 51-year-old male was arrested on July 7 on a Stephens County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group One, Less than One Gram) and a State of Texas Parole Violation Warrant.
  • A 32-year-old male was arrested on July 7 on a U.S. Marshals Service Warrant for Possession of a Dangerous Drug, No Bail Warrant.
  • On July 7, a 28-year-old female was arrested on Stephens County Warrants for Criminal Trespassing and Prohibited Substance within a correctional facility.
  • A 33-year-old male was arrested on July 8 on a Stephens County Warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury (Family Violence).
  • A 40-year-old male was arrested on July 9 on a Stephens County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to Stephens County Jail without incident.
  • A 42-year-old male was arrested on July 10 on a Stephens County Warrant for Aggravated Assault (Family Violence) with a Deadly Weapon.
