  • Medics responded to a request for an ambulance in the 1300 block of West Wheeler Street at 9:15 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported abandoned in the 1600 block of North Breckenridge Avenue at 9:24 a.m.
  • The Chief Deputy responded to a report of a loose calf on FM 576 West at FM 1853 at 10:42 a.m.
  • An animal control officer responded to a call for a trap to catch a family of raccoons in the 400 block of West Hullum Street at 11:34 a.m.

Arrest Report –  Week of June 29-July 5
  • A 30-year-old male was arrested on July 1 on local Stephens County warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance (PG 1, less than one gram) and Evading Arrest Detention (with previous convictions). Bond was set at $10,000.
  • A 46-year-old male was arrested on a local Stephens County warrant for Interference with Public Duties on July 2.
  • A 36-year-old male was arrested on July 3 on a Stephens County warrant for Theft of Property (greater than $100 and less than $750). He was transported to Stephens County Jail without incident.
  • A 43-year-old male was arrested on an Austin Parole Division warrant on July 3.
  • A 28-year-old female was arrested on a local Stephens County warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on July 4.
