City cancels Boil Water Notice issued on June 27
Effective Monday, July 6, the City of Breckenridge has rescinded a boil water notice that was issued on June 27 for the following area: Easton to Butte and Lindsey to Connell and North Butte from Lindsey to Stevenson.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Breckenridge to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform water customers that due to the interruption in service, water from the system needed to be boiled prior to consumption.
The City took the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results indicating that the water no longer requires boiling.
