The 2020 Salute in the Salt Flats VFD Fundraiser Fireworks Show will begin shortly after  9 p.m. this evening, July 4, south of Breckenridge.

The fireworks show will take place just north of Canyon Road Barn and Grill on the Rail A Ranch.

There will not be an entry fee, but donations will be accepted to benefit the local Volunteer Fire Departments. The cost of the fireworks has been paid for by donations by local businesses and individuals. All other donations collected will be donated to the fire departments.

The show will begin with the National Anthem at 9:15 p.m., to be immediately followed by the fireworks show. Patriotic music will be played during the show.

There will be free off-highway parking by the Rail A Headquarters north of the salt flats. Social distancing guidelines are still in effect by the orders from Gov. Greg Abbott.

Earlier in the evening, the Lakeshore Estates area, north of Village Inn at Hubbard Creek Lake, will have a golf cart parade at 7 p.m. tonight, July 4.
