Editor’s Note: The weekly Emergency Dispatch Report for Breckenridge and Stephens County is a new feature of the Breckenridge Texan. The report is compiled from the Daily Logs of the local 9-1-1 dispatchers. It includes local calls involving the Breckenridge Police Department, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, the Breckenridge Fire Department, the AMR ambulance service and other entities in the area.

Monday, June 15, 2020
  • An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity near the 800 block of West Hullum Street at 2:24 a.m.
  • Deputies were notified of a minor accident near Highway 67 North and CR 168 at 4:24 a.m.
  • An alarm sounded at 5:24 a.m. near the 1600 block of West Walker Street.
  • The Chief Deputy responded to a report of loose livestock on FM 576 East at 7:53 a.m.
  • Officers responded to a burglary in the 500 block of West Lindsey Street at 7:58 a.m.
  • The Fire Chief notified the Law Enforcement Center at 9:45 a.m. about a fire in the early morning in the 600 block of North Albany Street that had not been reported earlier.
  • The Police Chief responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of Chaparral Lane at 11:22 a.m.
  • Two officers and a sergeant responded to a call about suspicious activity near the 800 block of East Connell Street at 12:05 p.m.
  • An officer responded to a report of goats and a potbellied pig possibly loose in the 200 block of South Jackson Street at 12:28 p.m.
  • Two officers, along with a firefighter and medics responded to the 2900 block of West Walker Street; one person was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital at 1:10 p.m.
  • Suspicious activity was reported in the 1200 block of West Walker Street at 1:20 p.m.
  • Medics transported a subject in the 1400 block of West Wheeler Street to Stephens Memorial Hospital at 1:29 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a loose cow at FM 576 and FM 1852 at 2:08 p.m.
  • Officers responded to an accidental medical alert activation in the 3000 block of West Walker Street at 2:13 p.m.; the subject was located at home.
  • An officer provided a civil standby in the 600 block of North Albany Street at 3:03 p.m.
  • An officer spoke with a subject in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center concerning unauthorized use of a motorized vehicle at 3:20 p.m.; the vehicle was returned.
  • An ambulance was dispatched to the 300 block of South Jackson Street at 6:18 p.m.
  • The Game Warden and a deputy were advised of suspicious activity near CR 311 at Hubbard Lake at 7:11 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a residential alarm in the 400 block of North Easton Street at 8:24 p.m.
  • A suspicious vehicle was spotted near the 6900 block of U.S. Highway 180 West at 9:08 p.m.
  • At 10:54 p.m., Emergency Medical Services requested assistance near the 6100 block of FM 207.

  • An officer spoke with a subject who wanted to file a report on his neighbor at the Law Enforcement Center at 6:34 a.m.
  • Criminal trespassing was reported in the 3800 block of West Walker Street at 8:09 a.m.
  • An officer arrested a subject on a warrant in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center at 9:20 a.m.
  • The Chief Deputy, assisted by a deputy, performed a traffic stop and conducted a vehicle search on U.S. Highway 180 East at 9:26 a.m.
  • The Sheriff responded to a call about a loose calf on FM 576 West, one mile from the Shackelford County Line, at 11:33 a.m.
  • A sergeant responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 100 block of West Walker Street at 2:29 p.m.

  • The AMR received a request for an ambulance in the 2800 block of West Walker Street at 10:31 a.m.
  • A deputy arrested a subject with warrants on a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 180 East at 12:47 p.m.
  • An officer and the AMR responded to a request for an ambulance in the 100 block of West Sixth Street at 3:34 p.m.
  • The Chief Deputy and a deputy arrested a subject on a warrant in the 200 block of West Walker Street at 4:04 p.m.

Arrest Report: Week of June 15-21, 2020
  • On June 16, a 43-year-old female was arrested on a Stephens County pardon and parole warrant.
  • On June 17, a 32-year-old female was arrested on a Stephens County warrant for Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault. Her bond was set at $10,000.
