City rescinds boil water notice for Ridge Road area

The City of Breckenridge has rescinded one of three Boil Water Notices issued this week. The rescinded notice, effective March 27, is for all of Ridge Road, Sha Lane, Yucca, and Sage.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Breckenridge to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform water customers that due to the interruption in service, water from the system needed to be boiled prior to consumption.
The City took the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results indicating that the water no longer requires boiling.
