BISD to host retirement celebration for Superintendent Tim Seymore

Breckenridge Independent School District will host a retirement celebration for outgoing Superintendent Tim Seymore on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
The Breckenridge community is invited to stop by the come-and-go event, which will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the board room at the BISD Administration Office, 208 N. Miller St. It will be an informal event, and refreshments will be served.
Seymore, who came to Breckenridge in January 2015 from Navasota ISD, announced his retirement in June; his last day at the district will be Aug. 31. He has 31 years of experience as a math teacher, principal and superintendent.
