The City of Breckenridge has rescinded the boil water notice issued on Dec. 27 for a neighborhood in west Breckenridge. The original notice affected the water customers in the area from 3206 W. Walker  to 3800 W. Walker; and all of Medina Court, Gaston Court, Morningside Drive, Cactus Cove Northglenn, and FM 3099 North.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Breckenridge to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform water customers that due to current interruption in service, water from the  system needed to be boiled prior to consumption. The necessary corrective actions was taken to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality, and the City has provided TCEQ with testing results indicating that the water no longer requires boiling.
