City holds second annual Breck Trade Days Chili Cookoff

Monty Seymour of Breckenridge took first place honors at the second annual Breck Trade Days Chili Cookoff on Saturday, Dec. 15. He served up his spicy “Awesome Possum Concoction” chili made from deer meat.

Pam and Wesley Wright, also of Breckenridge, took second place with their “Pale Ale” chili and were picked as the People’s Choice award.

The event was judged by Martha and Genoa Goad and Stacy Harrison, public services director for the City of Breckenridge.
