BISD to host third annual Buckaroo Bash on Saturday, Aug. 4
Breckenridge parents and students will have a chance to register for school, get health screenings and haircuts for the students, and pick up a variety of information at the third annual Buckaroo Bash, an event featuring a variety of school and community organizations and businesses offering information and services for the upcoming school year.
The event is schedule for Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church’s Christian Life Center, at 419 W. Walker St. It will be free and open to the public.
Hosted by the Breckenridge Independent School District’s Student Health Advisory Committee, the Buckaroo Bash is scheduled to include the following free booths:
- School registration for new and returning students
- Haircuts (students only)
- Health screenings (students only)
- Open Door
- Texas Health Steps
- Amerigroup
- Noah Project
- Sacred Cross EMS
- Breckenridge Police Department
- Stephens County Sheriff’s Office
- Breckenridge Fire Department
- Little Bucks and Flag Football
- First Star Medicaid
- Hibbett Sports
- Hot dogs
