The Stephens County Emergency Management office has opened a “Warming Center” at the Stephens County Law Enforcement Center for local residents who need a place to warm up during the ongoing cold snap.

The arctic cold front that moved into the area late Saturday will continue to impact Breckenridge and Stephens County, as well as much of the rest of the country through Tuesday, Jan. 16.
