The cafeteria at Breckenridge’s East Elementary School was filled with the harmonious sounds of children’s laughter and Christmas music last Thursday morning as the second-graders decorated gingerbread houses for the holiday.

The entries in the 2021 Breckenridge Christmas Parade on Wednesday, Dec. 8, reflected the ideas of “What Christmas Means to Me” for those who built and rode on the floats.
Christmas is 20 days away, and downtown Breckenridge is decked out with lots of lights and other holiday decorations.
