Following the valedictorian and salutatorian scholarships, the rest of the local scholarships were presented and other honors were recognized. In all, 111 scholarships totaling $106,750 were presented to 32 students. Additionally, the Buckaroo Awards for Academic Excellence were presented, and those students who qualified for state competitions this year were honored.

The BHS Class of 2026 will graduate on Friday, May 22. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the BISD Athletic Center (the main gym), located at the corner of West Second and North Live Oak streets.
