Walker Street Trick or Treat
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Walker Street Trick or Treat on Friday, Oct. 30. Local businesses on Walker Street and beyond will be handing out candy to kids for the holiday. Typically, the event takes place during the regular business hours of the participating businesses, mostly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but some businesses may close earlier or stay open later. The wide range of hours allows younger children and daycares to trick-or-treat early in the day, and then school-age kids can stop by after school.
Saturday, Oct. 31
Halloween
Halloween is on Saturday, Oct. 31. The City of Breckenridge does not have any set times for trick-or-treating. Local families can choose their own times for handing out candy and/or taking their kids trick-or-treating.
Festival of Light
First Baptist Church of Breckenridge will host its annual Festival of Light event from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the church, 301 S. Rose Ave. The annual event will offer family fun, including games, prizes, candy and more. It is for children in fifth grade and younger.
Trunk or Treat
Elliott Street Church of Christ will hold a Trunk-or-Treat beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the church, 1701 W. Elliott St. The event will offer candy and fun for all ages in a family-safe environment. They will be set up until they run out of candy.
