Additionally, the Buckaroo Awards for Academic Excellence were presented, and those students who qualified for state competitions this year were honored.
Prior to the awards ceremony, the school held a Signing Day event, recognizing several students who have signed to attend college on athletic and band scholarships, as well as those who have joined the military.
The BHS Class of 2026 will graduate on Friday, May 22. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the BISD Athletic Center (the main gym), located at the corner of West Second and North Live Oak streets.
