Breckenridge ISD posts school supply lists, 2025-26 calendar
Breckenridge Independent School District campuses have posted their school supply lists for the 2025-26 academic year.
The first day of school for the new year will be Tuesday, Aug. 5. The BISD calendar is Monday-Thursday again this year, with most months having no classes on Fridays or only on one Friday.
There are four school supply lists featured below — two for East Elementary (one for pre-k and kindergarten and one for first and second grades), one for South Elementary and one for the junior high. Breckenridge High School does not require a general list. Teachers will inform the BHS students if specific supplies are needed at the start of the new school year. Unless otherwise notified in advance, BHS students should just be prepared to start school with basic supplies, such as pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, etc.
A couple of weeks before school starts, Stephens Memorial Hospital and Solaris Healthcare will host their fourth annual Snow Cones & School Supplies Back to School Bash. From 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 24, they will be handing out free backpacks with commonly requested school supplies, as well as snow cones and immunization information. The event will be in the Stephens Memorial Hospital dining room (enter at hospital’s main entrance), 200 S. Geneva St. Students must be present to receive backpack.
