The Breckenridge Woman’s Forum recently made a donation to the local Meals on Wheels organization.

Each year the Woman’s Forum raises funds to share with other organizations in the community. Peggy Holder, the coordinator for Meals on Wheels accepted the donation for the organization, which delivers meals to shut-ins in Breckenridge.

Meals on Wheels provides meals to people who are shut in, unable to cook for themselves, or have a special need. Recipients are referred by doctors, healthcare providers and social services. Meals on Wheels delivers meals twice a week to approximately 82 people. Then, three days a week, Stephens Memorial Hospital delivers meals to the same people.
