Buckaroo fans cheer on track athletes as they leave for State competition in Austin

Six Buckaroo track athletes left town this morning, on their way to the UIL Track and Field State Meet in Austin, as cheering crowds gave them a send-off throughout Breckenridge.
After placing at the Regional Meet in Abilene earlier this month, they will compete on Thursday, May 11.
Representing Breckenridge High School at the State contest will be:
- Chase Lehr, 800-meter run
- Sawyer Wimberley, 200-meter dash
- Adler Loftis, discus
- The 4×400 relay team, including Angel Alvarado, Jaime Cruz, Chase Lehr and Karter Smalley
