Fine Arts Center to host hunting exhibition; reception slated for March 18

The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will open its first hunting exhibit this week and will host a reception on Saturday, March 18.

The “Hunter’s Exhibition” will showcase taxidermy trophies from Stephens County to places as far away as Africa and South America. All of the animals featured in the event are from local hunters.

Additionally, the exhibit will include displays of hunting-related products and services in the area, including Duck Blood Bandits, Fambro’s Workshop, Ray’s Wild Game Processing, Buck Canyon Ranch, Cedar Creek Taxidermy, and Stephens County 4-H Shooting Sports.

The exhibit will be on display from Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, April 7. A reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 18, with free beer, wine and water; V-Dubb’s Smokehouse will be at the BFAC for dinner purchases.

The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center is located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information, call 254-559-6602.
