City to host workshop on Monday, seeking input from local citizens
The City of Breckenridge will host a Strategic Planning Workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at the Chamber of Commerce office, 100 E. Elm St., for members of the community to provide input as the City develops a strategic plan for the City of Breckenridge and its municipal services.
The meeting will be the third meeting in the City’s strategic plan project. The first meeting included City employees, and last month, the City officials met with community from other local organizations and entities to further develop the City’s mission statement, goals and objectives.
At Monday’s come-and-go workshop, each City department will have a table set up, and attendees can talk to the staff members. According to City Manager Cynthia Northrop, the City is looking for answers to questions, such as “What are we doing well?” “What do we need to work on?” “What are your top three needs and how would you prioritize?”
The meeting will be open to the public. For more information, call the City Offices at 254-559-8287.
